This is a link to an article in The Scientist titled “Frisky mice produce fertile sons.” It reports on a paper in BMC Evolutionary Biology that
reports data showing that when female mice mate with multiple partners
(polyandry), the sperm from the various males must “compete” to
fertilize eggs and results in offspring that are more fertile
themselves. Take a look.
