I thought this was an interesting article due to the increasing percent of people with sleep apnea. The idea that only one month of damage from obstructive sleep apnea can cause altered cerebrovascular function which could result in a stroke, is mind blowing. I know after job shadowing many people do not consult a physician about being test for sleep apnea until their spouse or someone else pushes them to go to the doctor.

That is very scary, because people don't know that they even have and always complain of feeling tired during the day. I have a friend who has sleep apnea and before she was diagnosed, she used to complain a lot of being tired and sleepy.
