Nanosensor peers inside cell

Nanosensor peers inside cell
I have to get one of these! Not really, I don’t currently have any experiments where a nano transistor would yield useful data, but the fact that nano-scale probes are being developed and used successfully to measure intracellular activity without disrupting the cell is an exciting development! Check out this news piece from The Scientist, or (if you’re up to it) check out the actual paper in Science (Bozhi Tian, et al., “Three-dimensional, flexible nanoscale field-effect transistors as localized bioprobes,” Science, 329: 830-4, 2010.)
