Think of entering a hospital sick with some microbe you thought you'd only see on "Monsters Inside Me." What if you had a cancer that required a specific treatment that had a high risk factor. Experimental mice awaiting to have your tissue transplanted into them as a way of determining treatments for unknown illnesses is a good idea. One factor that may hinder this future treatment is the time it requires. Many people dont have time to wait and see what treatments will work in a mouse before beginning treatment for themselves. However, if this factor could be overcome, mice determinees could be revolutionary for medical treatment all around the world.
