"Exorcist"

I always wondered how owls can twist their heads almost 360 degrees.  Owls have multiple vertebrae, small bones in the spine and back help them with movement in different directions.  Researchers from John Hopkins used 12 dead birds, injected them with dye and "liquidified" red plastic to maintain the arteries. They found owls have "backup" arteries that help with sudden turning but also arteries swell to help with the excess blood buildup.
