River Blindness

In Dr Newsome's Parasitology class of 3..0..5..0, he briefly spoke about the "river blindness" disease in class. I ran across this on cnn and thought that the charity of The Carter Center and the pharmaceutical company Merck was pretty generous in helping out this African village in Uganda with providing treatment free of charge to these people in need.
